Sketchbook Highlight: Elphaba

Many apologies for my long absence, but hey, I come bearing highlights from my Semester One sketchbook! I figure I'll post a few, but I'm not comfortable commiting to a specific number. I have two for today, and you can view the other one here --> [link]

I love musicals. Like, a lot. And I know the entire score to Wicked like the back of my hand. So, when I finally picked up a copy of the book by Gregory Maguire (which is fabulous, even if a tad long winded), of course Elphaba would make an appearance, or seventy, in my sketchbook. I made a few color attempts, and this one was both the first, and the best.

This may be my favorite sketchbook piece of the year.

Also, Sailor Moon Poster Project is still going. I have one (of a planned three) of the Black Moon Arc Posters completed, but I feel the need to post it second, not first. They'll be along soon. Thanks for being patient!
